Title 1 Program 24-25 School Year
-
As a Title I school, R M Marrs Magnet receives federal funding which provides additional supports for core instruction in reading, math, and science for students. This funding allows our students to participate in supplemental instructional activities such as after-school tutoring, purchase classroom materials, staff professional development, and parent engagement resources and activities. The goal of the Title I program is to support academic achievement to all student success.
The Marrs staff is committed to a partnership with parent and community members. As a part of their commitment, Marrs staff hosts the Annual Title I Parent Meeting. The meeting is a dialogue between staff, parents, and community members to discuss funding priorities, student performance and gather parent input.
Marrs staff sees parent engagement as a key component to every students' success. The Parent Engagement Policy and School Compact outlines our commitment working with parents to ensure the academic success of every student we serve. Please take the opportunity to review these documents in our resources section.
If you have any questions about the Title I program, please feel free to contact Angelique Barone, principal, for more information.
