Ms. Jodi Pesek has been with Omaha Public Schools since 1992. She began her career in education as an instrumental music teacher at Norris Middle School and has been an OPS building administrator since 2000. Ms. Pesek holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, a Master of Music Performance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Master of Science in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. “My South Omaha roots run deep. I graduated from South High in 1986 and am proud to have the opportunity to serve the South Omaha community as the principal of Omaha South High School.”

Mr. Mike Greene-Walsh has been with Omaha Public Schools since 2003 and is the Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Omaha South High School. He began his career as a teacher and coach at his alma mater, Omaha North High School. In 2016, he accepted a position as the Dean of Students and Assistant Athletic Director at Omaha Bryan High School. Mr. Greene-Walsh earned both a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. “I am excited to join the Packer family and become a part of the rich tradition of success, both on and off the field.”

Mrs. Julie Johnson has been with Omaha Public Schools since 1995 and has served as the Assistant Principal and Activities Director at Omaha South High School since 2002.  Mrs. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Northern Iowa and a Master of Science in Educational Administration and Supervision from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  In addition, Mrs. Johnson has an endorsement in English Language Learners (K-12) from Concordia University and an endorsement in Reading (K-12) from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  "I am proud to serve as the Activities Director at Omaha South High School.  Omaha South High provides numerous opportunities for all students to belong and succeed in our school community."

Mrs. Sheila McCauley has been with Omaha Public Schools since 1997.   She has served as a Family and Consumer Science and Dance teacher, a Curriculum Specialist, Instructional and Gifted and Talented facilitator, Dean of Students, coach, and currently serves in the role of Assistant Principal and Data Processor.  Mrs. McCauley earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Stout,  a Master’s in Middle Grades Education from Columbus State University, and K-12 administration from Wayne State University.   "I am excited to join South High and help students achieve success and prepare for their future."
