Ponca Elementary School is located at 11300 North Post Road. Located in the beautiful rolling hills of northern Omaha, the current Ponca Elementary building was first occupied in 1964. Ponca has the smallest student population of approximately 130 kindergarten through fifth graders, but serves the largest geographical area in Omaha Public Schools. With its ties to both the metropolitan Omaha area plus the pleasures of a rural related environment, Ponca is proud to offer all of the amenities of a large school in a small close-knit community setting. The school's vision calls for a school where everyone is a vital link in the school chain of learning, helping, loving and having fun together - a place where dreams are encouraged and visions become a reality."
