Monday, 11-17

· Good morning, Westview! The Diaper Drive has officially wrapped up, and we want to thank every single student and staff member who donated. You’ve helped make life a little easier for families across Nebraska. But the giving doesn’t stop here! Up next in our Month of Giving is the Food Drive—another great way to support our community. So, keep that generous spirit alive! Whether it’s diapers, food, or time—you’re making a difference. Thank you for showing what it means to be part of the Wolverine family!

· Sophomores and Juniors: Zoo Academy applications are now open until November 30th. Please swing by Counseling if you have any questions.

· Make your meal matter! JROTC is hosting a community night at Culvers on 172nd and Maple on Monday, Nov 17th from 4-8pm. 15% of your meal goes to Westview JROTC, hope to see you all there!!

· Attention Westview Football players, you must RSVP for our end-of-the-season banquet by Sunday, November 23rd. The banquet will be held on Sunday, December 7th at 6pm in the Westview Commons. The banquet is for all football players; Freshmen - Senior that finished out the season and their parent/guardian(s). The banquet is free for players and $30 per parent/guardian. · Sophomores looking for Leadership Opportunities? Westview will be nominating 2 sophomores for the HOBY Leadership Seminar held in Hastings May 2026. Stop in the counseling center for an application or email your counselor with questions.

· Counseling will be hosting Truman State University during 3rd period on November 18th. Please stop by if you want to see what opportunities they have to offer.

· Attenion Seniors, this is your reminder that your senior photos are due by December 1st. Please email your photo to Shelby Schmidt as soon as possible. Also, don’t forget that senior ads are now on sale! Tell your Parents can purchase your ad on YearbookForever.com — it’s a great way to celebrate your accomplishments and memories.

· Do you enjoy fighting games? Are you a street fighter fanatic? Think you have what it takes to compete? PlayVS has partnered with Capcom for a winter Street Fighter 6 tournament. Come compete against schools all over the nation with a chance to win the top prizes, including a customized corsair Nova Pro fight box controller! This is a 3v3 tournament with Tryouts starting the 20th and 21st in studio 136. See Coach Louis for more information.

Tuesday, 11-18 

· Hey Wolverines! The results are in for our Westview Diaper Drive, and wow—what an amazing week it’s been! Together, we collected an incredible number of diapers to support families through the Nebraska Diaper Bank. [Insert total number here if available.] And now, the moment you’ve been waiting for—the group that collected the most diapers is… [Insert winning class/academy/group name here]! 🎉 Congratulations! Thank you to everyone who donated and helped kick off our Month of Giving with such success. Westview, you’ve proven once again that small acts of kindness add up to something truly powerful.
