Norris Chapter of National Junior Honors Society

  • The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is offered to any 8th grader with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher during their 7th grade year. The induction ceremony is held in the early Fall semester and various service projects follow every month for the rest of the year.  We conclude with an end of the year trip.  You will be invited to NJHS if you qualify.  To be offered membership, an individual must epitomize the following qualities: scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship.

NJHS members are held to the highest standards.  We promote enthusiasm for scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. By joining Honor Society, you agree to maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher, impeccable behavior, take part in service projects, complete 30 hours of service outside of school, and treat your peers, school staff, and school facilities with respect.
