Ashland Park-Robbins Elementary School is located at 5050 South 51st Street. In 1994, two neighborhood schools, Ashland Park Elementary and Robbins Elementary Schools, combined attendance areas to form a new elementary school. The student body includes children from preschool through sixth grade. Besides the regular classroom instruction, Ashland Park-Robbins Elementary School has a variety of programs serving students in English as a Second Language (ESL), early childhood education, and a wide range of special education programs. With the involvement and support of parents and Adopt-A-School partners, the learning focus for students includes an emphasis in the development of effective reading, writing, and math strategies through technology-enhanced instruction. True to its mission, the Ashland Park-Robbins School community places a high priority on the family and community as partners in fostering a climate of caring relationships and shared commitment in the education of their children.
