Enrichment & After-School Programming
-
Enrichment after-school programming is an important extension of every student's day.
Tuesday through Thursday, students have the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of classes. Classes are offered to promote our extra value standards: Leadership, Communication, and Technology, as well as STEAM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Arts-Math). Current Wilson staff and outside entities provide engaging opportunities for ALL students.
Students receive a snack at 3:30 p.m. followed by their enrichment classes from 3:40-4:30. School dismisses at 4:30 p.m. on enrichment days.
There are four sessions throughout the school year, 6-7 weeks each. These classes give all students the opportunity to explore different interests and meet other schoolmates and staff within the school. We encourage students to make a goal to try new classes each session for opportunities to expand their life experiences.
Excitement fills the halls as students transition to their enrichment classes.
