Strings

  • The District Strings program is an optional music program offered beginning in 4th grade and continues through high school. Students enrolled in our strings program will receive learning materials and two 30-minute lessons every five school days with our Strings teacher. District provided instruments are available to rent on a first come, first served basis, depending on financial needs, otherwise instruments and supplies must be provided by the family. Students will perform twice each school year, including during the annual Winter Programs.

Band

  • The District Band program is an optional music program offered beginning in 5th grade and continues through high school. Students enrolled in our band program will receive learning materials and two 30-minute lessons every five school days with our Band teacher, Mrs. Samantha Borjon. District provided instruments are available to rent on a first come, first served basis, depending on financial needs, otherwise instruments and supplies must be provided by the family. Students will perform twice each school year, including during the annual Winter Programs.

Chorus

  • Chorus is a special singing ensemble offered to all 5th Graders. All students must audition and have parent permission to participate in Chorus. The Chorus curriculum combines all music concepts taught in the general music classes and puts them into practice. Students learn the basics of reading choral octavos using the skills from general music. Chorus meets for fifty minutes once every five school days. Students enrolled in Chorus will be provided with all learning materials. They will perform twice each school year, including during the annual Winter Programs.
