Meet our PRINCIPAL

Dear Prairie Wind Elementary School Community,

It is with great excitement and honor that I join Prairie Wind Elementary as your principal!  Our school is a place where students are inspired not only to achieve academically but to grow into kind, responsible, and resilient individuals.  I am committed to creating a supportive environment where every child feels valued, encouraged, and challenged to reach their highest potential.

At Prairie Wind, we believe that success is measured not only by academic achievement but by the strength of character our students show.  Our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly to nurture a love of learning while emphasizing respect, integrity, and compassion in everything we do.

Together, we aim to build a community that celebrates every accomplishment—whether it’s mastering a new skill, demonstrating kindness, or overcoming a challenge.

I look forward to partnering with each of you to create an exceptional school experience that prepares our students to thrive both in and out of the classroom.  Thank you for entrusting us with your children’s education and growth.  Let’s make this an incredible year of learning and character-building together!

Warmly,

Tamika Walker
